Earlier today, Bob was at the opening ceremony of the reconstructed Chislehurst Road Bridge. The bridge has been closed for a year after safety inspections revealed severe structural weaknesses.
The route opened to traffic from midday, following a formal opening ceremony where it was confirmed that the project was completed on time and on budget.
At the event, Bob commented:
“Bromley council did a good job ensuring that the bridge was completed on schedule and today’s official opening will bring huge relief to residents and local traders alike.”
