On Saturday I had the pleasure of opening the summer fete at Lauriston House in Bickley. It was great to chat with residents, relatives and staff over a glass of Pimms, and was fantastic to see the leaps and bounds Lauriston has made over the last couple of years.
In December Lauriston opened a brand new rehabilitation unit which provides care to patients who, after leaving hospital, are unable to live independently at home, and its excellent team of staff were recognised in its most recent CQC inspection.
I am grateful to everyone at Lauritson for inviting me to open this great event. The day was a huge success and was thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended!
