The Government has announced that it is extending the ‘Access for All’ programme, which recently funded the introduction of lifts at Bromley South station. It is important that we all show our support for getting step free access at other local rail stations, notably Bickley, Chislehurst and St Mary Cray stations. These are all being considered by Southeastern as potential nominees for funding, but the operator is asking for feedback from rail users.
Thousands of you make regular use of these three stations, either as part of a regular commute or for occasional travel, so it is worth taking five minutes to demonstrate that there is popular demand for improvement works.
Southeaster have asked responses to focus on (a) Why have you chosen the station(s); and (b) Specific justifications for your choice(s).
