On Tuesday 13th August, Bob Neill will be meeting with the Environment Agency’s Chief Executive to establish a plan for resolving the problems associated with the Waste4Fuel Ltd site in Cornwall Drive. They will be joined in Westminster by local Assembly Member James Cleverly, along with the area’s ward councillor John Ince and Bromley’s Portfolio Holder for Environment, Cllr Colin Smith.
Commenting on why he has convened the meeting, Bob Neill said:
“Residents have put up with this problem site for far too long. The operators have been in flagrant breach of the rules and it is high time they were held accountable for their actions. I am getting all the key players around the table so that we can agree on a firm plan of action to clear up what remains an unsightly and dangerous mess.”
