The Blackbrook Lane application will be determined this Thursday 17 April during the Plans Sub-Committee at the Bromley Civic Centre at 19:00.
The application has been recommended for refusal by both the Mayor of London and planning officers at Bromley Council, primarily because the site is designated Green Belt.
I have made my stance on this application very clear from the start, and I feel the applicants have done themselves no favours by deliberately attempting to wear down opponents through the repeat submission of applications with minor amendments. Policy on Green Belt is explicit and robust, and I am confident Bromley Council will uphold these strong protections when looking at the application on Thursday evening.
Attached below is a copy of the comprehensive officer’s report recommending refusal for the application.
