On Wednesday 18 I was delighted to attend the Bromley Means Business Expo in the Civic Centre. This one day event, organised by the London Borough of Bromley, offered local start-ups an invaluable opportunity to meet, learn and network with other businesses.
The expo included an exhibition with over 30 suppliers and business support services, with a diverse range of organisations such as Companies House, the Intellectual Property Office, the Institute of Chartered Accountants and NewsShopper all setting up stalls. The day also involved free one-to-one advice clinics and regular seminars from councillors, business coaches and financial managers.
It was a pleasure to meet both budding and established entrepreneurs alike, and the expo reaffirmed my belief that Bromley is a fantastic place to invest, start up and grow a business.
