Bob has given the following reaction to today's draft report, issued by the Special Administrator, Matthew Kershaw:
“Much of today’s draft report is very encouraging, not least the prospect of the Princess Royal University Hospital being run by the King's College Hospital Foundation Trust and Queen Mary’s Hospital being kept for health purposes. As we enter the public consultation phase, I will be seeking to meet with the Administrator to discuss these recommendations in more detail and I will also use that opportunity to press for more information about the proposed debt write off. Although it could potentially be very good for our area, the viability of this entire project seems very much dependent upon securing a sizable bail out for the Trust.”
A summary of the recommendations is available here: http://www.tsa.nhs.uk/sites/www.bobneill.org.uk/files/Summary%20of%20TSA%20recommendations.pdf
The TSA's full draft report is available here: http://www.tsa.nhs.uk/sites/www.bobneill.org.uk/files/TSA-DRAFT-REPORT-WEB.pdf
A full public consultation on these recommendations will run from 2nd Naovember to 13th December 2013, and Bob would encourage all residents to take part in this process. Further details are available here: http://www.tsa.nhs.uk/
