Moped crime in Bromley and Chislehurst

A number of residents have recently contacted me about an increase in antisocial behaviour being committed by people riding mopeds and motorbikes, which in some instances has led to cases of more serious crime.

Waste4Fuel clearance resumes

Following the cessation of the clearance works at the Waste 4 Fuel site on Cornwall Drive earlier this year, I am pleased that the clear-up operation has begun again this week to remove the remainder of the waste, estimated to be around 9,000 tonnes.

Since my last update on 28 April, I have continued to press Southeastern, Network Rail and the Department for Transport on a number of points, also seeking answers on the concerns and complaints local residents have brought to my attention.

Bob receives assurances from PM on Waste4Fuel site

After years of protracted negotiations, as well as interventions from the former Prime Minister and Mayor of London, a funding agreement between the Environment Agency and Bromley Council was reached last August to clear the Waste4Fuel site on Cornwall Drive.
